About the Therapist
Hallmark Massage is the name for the massage therapy services from professional therapist Allison Whitchurch, and here’s a bit more information about me.
I originally trained in Swedish Massage in 2000 and since then I’ve gained experience of massaging a wide range of people with many differing needs including the elderly, minors, people with disabilities and the ‘stressed-out’.
The professional training I’ve completed includes:
- 2001
- Diploma in Swedish Massage and anatomy and physiology, awarded by International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC)
- 2004
- Diploma in Aromatherapy, awarded by ITEC
- 2008
- Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage from the London School of Sports Massage, awarded by BTEC
I am a full member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage and hold the requisite insurance to practice.
I run for fitness and fun, and use a kettleball and practise Pilates for conditioning benefits. I’m currently training for the 2009 MK Half Marathon and use massage treatments and self-massage to help keep me injury free!
